Overview
Four bundles offer skins at a good discount and most include legacy skins. There’s quite some variability on the skins not only due to the eclectic selection but also to their age. There are also relatively new offerings but which bundles are the ones worth getting? Let’s take a look.
Deadly Dashes
Discount: 50%
Total Price: 10210 -> 5105 RP
Skins’ Price: 5622 -> 2811 RP
This is a moderately good bundle that only suffers from the inclusion of Pool Party Lee Sin. Not only does the joke skin stand out from the others, even more than Arcade Riven does, but it also doesn’t offer much more than a change of model. The other skins are more ambitious and also satisfying. Even though Arcade Riven isn’t as cohesive as the others the bundle is an option if you can accept these caveats.
Creep Killers
Discount: 50%
Total Price: 9914 -> 4957 RP
Skins’ Price: 5622 -> 2811 RP
On the one hand, this bundle has good skins but on the other it also includes a few that are rather simple. Both Bladecraft Orianna and Full Machine Viktor are re-models at 975 RP. They are very good re-models but at that price more is expected nowadays. Gravelord Azir and Forsaken Jayce are elaborate, charming and also expensive. The former also doesn’t add much with respect to Galactic Azir. Underworld Twisted Fate is a fantastic skin and being legacy makes discounts rare. However, this is a bundle that feels uneven even if the skins are all actually rather good. Unless you like and accept the re-models at their price then it’s not the best option. They are good yet they also start to show their age.
Twisted Ones
Discount: 50%
Total Price: 8186 -> 4093 RP
Skins’ Price: 4792 -> 2396 RP
Legacy skins abound in this bundle. The real letdown is Mundo Mundo which for its price isn’t even a full re-model. Asylum Shaco is also a re-model but a very good one; though the price is a bit high for that. The other skins are all quite good and well worth their reasonable prices. If you can accept these low points, or, specifically, the big low point, then it’s a bundle that can offer a lot of legacy quality.
Combat Medics
Discount: 50%
Total Price: 7608 -> 3804 RP
Skins’ Price: 4416 -> 2208 RP
For support fans this is a tailor made bundle. Full of good skins at sensible prices there’s little fault to be found. Sure, there’s a skin that has suffered from a game-play update: Celestine Soraka. It meant losing some of its bright particles to classic re-colours; they simply were not done again for her best skin as they should’ve. However, it still retains some of her charm. Besides, the others have either improved, Emerald Taric, or remained safe for now. Truth be told, if you like the selection of champions and skins then this is a great bundle.
