Today, 23rd of October, finishes the Dead Man’s Party as well as the Totemic Maokai, Reaper Hecarim and Grim Reaper Karthus skin sale. If you are interested in partying with any of these specimens of the underworld don’t miss this chance to get them at 50% less. Tomorrow they will return to their habitual price so visit the store before the sale finishes at the end of the day.
Totemic Maokai is a spiky tree with tribal painting, glowing eyes and beaked saplings. It’s not a particularly attractive picture as the skin looks rather drab, except for the face and shoulders. The face, let’s say it’s distinct; and weird also. Overall, the tribal theme is realized but doesn’t look appealing. Even if you want a uniquely painted tree Tribal Maokai doesn’t stand out.
Reaper Hecarim hits practically all the right notes to deliver a haunting appearance. The scythe and glowing head are simply the most obvious ones as the wrinkled and dry skin make him look as dead as he should be. The clothes are rather plain, actually, but in general the image of death on hooves is accomplished. Nothing spells death more literally for your enemies than a Horseman of Apocalypse galloping over them.
Let’s say it before anything else, Karthus needs to be put on a diet. Don’t be fooled by his bony visage as his hands look quite fleshy; he’s getting fat. That aside, Grim Reaper Karthus is as close to the classic personification of death as any champion gets. When you add the folded robe, the hideous book and the staff-adapted scythe together you get quite a deadly look. Maybe Karthus should change his tome for a book on diets because as a Grim Reaper he doesn’t look lean at all.

Today, 19th of October, finishes the Dragon Slayer Jarvan IV, Dragonslayer Vayne and Bittersweet Lulu skin sale. If you are interested in any of these skins don’t miss this chance to get them at 50% less. Tomorrow they will return to their habitual price so visit the store before the sale finishes at the end of the day.
For a supposedly repentant dragon slayer Jarvan sure put a lot of effort in his armour; he seems to be back at it. No point in wasting functional armour then but its style can be a little too awkward. It treads the thin line between acceptable and ridiculous with those huge horns in the back. Still, the overall style is practical, even if a little too flashy. Dragon Slayer Jarvan IV isn’t a bad choice if you want to look tough and well protected.
Armoured warriors tend to prefer to cover their body as much as possible, especially the blow magnet known as the torso. Dragonslayer Vayne disregards such presumptions and dons a very stylish dragon-inspired armour that looks as effective as it looks revealing; we are talking armour here. It’s true that a crossbow wielder shouldn’t be on the front line but nowadays everyone and their mother has a gap closer. If you don’t mind revealing protection, Dragonslayer Vayne is a good looking skin to get.
It’ll be said only once: don’t mess with Lulu or you’ll end like a cupcake in a battlefield; literally. Just don’t underestimate the lethality of confectionery in the right hands, you’ve been warned. Although, you probably want to be at the other end of the receiving end, the one with a nice purple taste. In that case Bittersweet Lulu is the right choice, who could be sweeter than a candy yordle anyway?

Today, 15th of October, finishes the Volcanic Wukong, Battlecast Xerath and Vandal Gragas skin sale. If you are interested in any of these skins don’t miss this chance to get them at 50% less. Tomorrow they will return to their habitual price so visit the store before the sale finishes at the end of the day.
There aren’t many chances of finding a flaming, demonic, antropomorphic monkey spinning around. The model is rather nice and the flames are an excellent touch to make the skin eye-catching and highly flammable. Particle inconsistencies aside, there isn’t much reason to ignore Volcanic Wukong if you like fire, monkeys or burning monkeys.
Battlecast Xerath, the energy-fueled robot; at least theoretically speaking. In fact, it’s red Xerath with a futuristic armour caging him; much like canned redfish. For the price it’s quite good and unless you find the mix of red and blue energy ennervating it’s a great skin for the Magus Ascendant.
Hic, hic, hic! Sorry, Gragas invited a round and you can imagine he’s not a fellow to turn down when alcoholic beverages are involved. If you’d also rather a pint of lager he’ll gladly oblige so when you see a huge bearded motorbike rider approaching don’t panic, he’s just pumping the keg. Just don’t expect to see anything besides beer and a gang look on Vandal Gragas; you get what you see.

Today, 12th of October, finishes the Giant Enemy Crabgot, Nightraven Fiora and Sun Goddess Karma skin sale. If you are interested in any of these skins don’t miss this chance to get them at 50% less. Tomorrow they will return to their habitual price so visit the store before the sale finishes at the end of the day.
Giant Enemy Crabgot is a joke that isn’t as funny as many think. The resulting look has a truly bizarre aspect plus the mix of shell and flesh isn’t very tasteful. In fact, the less his physiognomy is analysed, the better. If you have a thing for crabs or peculiar jokes you may like it but this crab isn’t an engaging meal.
Nightraven Fiora provides a dark stylish look for the Grand Duelist that is attractive and believable. The armour looks good and the colour scheme while subdued isn’t needlessly homogeneous. It simply is a great skin for fans of classy armoured ladies and capped vigilantes. Just don’t forget to mark a ‘Z’ on your enemies when dispatching them.
Sun Goddess Karma is a skin with a particular aesthetic that can comes across as flamboyant while remaining unique. It sure is a skin that stands apart but the style can be too unconventional and even impractical for a battlefield. On the whole, if you like her fantastic style it’s a nice skin.

Brand, the Burning Vengeance is, for all intents and purposes, the fire elemental of the League of Legends. Tomorrow they will return to their habitual price so visit the store before the sale finishes at the end of the day.
Bladecraft Orianna turns the Lady of Clockwork into a menacing yet appealing gynoid. The combination of blades and leather provide a distinct look that fits both Orianna and the battlefield. In addition to this, the ball receives a new design decorated with engravings and matching jer style. Fans of Orianna will find this a very good addition to her wardrobe.
For a protector heavy armour and a massive shield are more a necessity than a luxury. Defender Leona gives her believable battle-hardened equipment that leaves little doubt about her dedication and effectiveness. It’s a great looking skin that matches Leona’s spirit and will appeal to anyone that fancies a reasonably armoured lady.
Where’s the straitjacket? Yes, Shaco took it but forgot to take his sanity with him again. Nevermind, at least he won’t get cold backstabing people. Besides, this skin is perfect for looking classy will leaving dead bodies behind: part buffoon, part restrained lunatic and all Shaco. Demon Jester followers, grab your straitjackets and hallucinate with Asylum Shaco; you won’t be deceived.
