Overview
As the first month of the second half of the year leaves a quartet of bundles appears with the usual suspects included. As always bundles carry the same discount as any regular sale but also mix great skins with others less so. Sometimes the most expensive skins don’t live up to expectations and sometimes the cheapest end up rather simplistic. It’s possible that some bundle escapes from assembly imperfection but, do any of these do? Let’s take a look and find out.
You Can Run But…Wait No, You Can’t
Discount: 50%
Total Price: 9296 -> 4648 RP
Skins’ Price: 4798 -> 2399 RP
While there aren’t bad skins in this bundle most of them are just alright. The only truly remarkable skin is Blood Moon Thresh. Most of the rest are re-models without much ambition to transcend such implementation. That also includes Dragonslayer Pantheon. Even if we include said skin as a potential interest, due to its appeal, the bundle does little to be more attractive than a regular sale.
It’s Dangerous to Go Alone
Discount: 50%
Total Price: 8666 -> 4333 RP
Skins’ Price: 4792 -> 2396 RP
There’re a couple of skins that are quite great: Blood Moon Elise and Pool Party Lulu. The others are still nice; even if Reverse Annie is a re-model it has a clever concept. However, they don’t add up to something special; like the effort made by Cottontail Fizz. Therefore, this is a case where getting the individual skins that you like the most can pay off. After all, while Shadow Prince Malzahar is an acceptable re-model there’re much more interesting skins for him.
League of Snipes
Discount: 50%
Total Price: 9672 -> 4836 RP
Skins’ Price: 5174 -> 2587 RP
This is a rather uneven bundle because when a skin is good it’s really good, excellent in fact, like Steel Legion Lux. Varus Swiftbolt is also a highlight due to its appealing model. Sadly, the others aren’t at the same level. They are still attractive, especially Firecracker Jinx. It could even be said that High Noon Jhin also has its charm. Regardless, unless you are interested in this eclectic selection, plus Debonair Ezreal’s simple class, then regular sales are to be preferred.
Size Doesn’t Matter
Discount: 50%
Total Price: 8964 -> 4482 RP
Skins’ Price: 5246 -> 2623 RP
Yordles everywhere and, truth be told, with a good selection of skins. For yordle fans this is an interesting bundle. At large, all of the skins are good from the most elaborate to the simplest. It could be argued, though, that Arctic Ops Kennen is a skin with a more general appeal than Piltover Customs Heimerdinger. The former has a great concept but a simple execution while the latter shares the simple execution and adds a concept that may not be so well thought out; unless you are a fan of Heimerdinger’s lore. For the most part, this is a bundle that yordle fans may like but be mindful that there may be better options in the case of the more modest skins.
