Bundles: All That Glitters is Gold, Warring Kingdoms, Power of Poke and Too Hot to Handle

Overview
Here we have three bundles at a 50% discount and one at 30% off. Two legacy skins appear under each discount plus themes that go from the most tightly knit to the plainly frayed. On top of this all the bundles exhibit a certain preference for expensive skins which is good when the discounts are high but also means that the bundles won’t be cheap. It does seem like it’s necessary to take a closer look.
All That Glitters is Gold
Discount: 50%
Total Price: 10196 -> 5098 RP
Skins’ Price: 5998 -> 2999 RP
With most of the skins at 1350 RP the 50% discount is a welcome figure. The problem is that despite their supposed technical superiority neither of these skins reaches greatness: Void Fizz, Soulstealer Vladimir and Creator Viktor are all good skins but they do nothing that a skin at 975 RP can’t; except from a processed voice-over.
This leaves us with Lunar Goddess Diana who suffers from an unfocused theme that can only rely on its lotus particles for salvation. Along comes Ghost Bride Morgana which is the only skin really worth getting from the whole set. Its concept and execution are very attractive despite the particle upgrade being based on its own particles. This means that its particles aren’t as special as before but the Ghost Bride still glows bright.
In the end, it’s a good discount and there aren’t any bad skins. However, if you don’t like all skins then you may be better off getting what you specifically like from regular sale. Patience is necessary but it’ll save a good amount of RP.
Warring Kingdoms
Discount: 50%
Total Price: 9250 -> 4625 RP
Skins’ Price: 5622 -> 2811 RP
The Warring Kingdoms skins are a decidedly mixed affair. They can be as wonderful as Nidalee’s or as overpriced as Xin Zhao’s or Jarvan IV’s. Both Katarina’s and Trydamere’s are quite good skins and the fact that the latter is a legacy skin helps as they don’t usually get discounted.
Sadly, the best skins have to drag the less interesting and also more expensive ones. This means that if you don’t like Xin Zhao’s and Jarvan IV’s skins then it may not be worthwhile to get the bundle. The Warring Kingdoms skins for Nidalee, Katarina and Tryndamere are certainly worth getting but without the others there’s some RP to be saved.
However, if you have some interest in Warring Kingdoms Xin Zhao or Jarvan IV then you might as well get the bundle. If you were to get the three others individually then you’ll have to pay 975 RP for the legacy skin. This is a difference of only 375 RP with the 1350 RP you’ll be paying for Xin and J4; assuming you have the patience to get the others on sale.
Power of Poke
Discount: 50%
Total Price: 9186 -> 4593 RP
Skins’ Price: 5398 -> 2699 RP
Some bundles can feel unconvincing but usually have some saving grace; like including some legacy skins. This isn’t the case, this is a mixed bundle and nothing else. Some skins are rather nice but others may be an acquired taste; not to say that their appeal is limited. Nevertheless, there’s nothing here that can’t be caught in a regular sale. Therefore, unless you like this eclectic mix of skins you are better off just getting what you like from regular sales and saving RP.
Too Hot to Handle
Discount: 30%
Total Price: 6408.6 -> 4486 RP
Skins’ Price: 3674.3 -> 2572 RP
A 30% discount is nothing that turns heads but when it’s applied to a legacy skin things get interesting. However, a regular skin at a 30% off is nothing exciting to say the least. These are rather nice skins and even if Dragonblade Riven and Firecracker Jinx are expensive they have rather nice particles. They both could’ve fit at 975 RP but they are passable at this high price. Foxfire is a bit uneven in its particle department but still an attractive skin.
Nonetheless, one can very well get both Foxfire and Firecracker at a regular sale, with enough patience, and save 465.5 RP; almost enough for a 975 RP on sale. The counterpart is this means getting Dragonblade at 1350 RP which is 375 RP more and so the net saving is just 90.5 RP.
In the end, if you like these skins and don’t have any of them then the bundle can be a good option. However, if you got Dragonblade at its initial 975 RP release price then you’re better off waiting for a sale on the others and saving good RP.

Honestly I think the WK and THTH bundles are worth it just on the backs of the legacy skins. Most notably, Dragonblade Riven and Warring Kingdoms Tryndamere.
