Overview
July is starting its second half and bundles are already here. Four bundles, eighteen skins and all sorts of bizarre combinations of themes; as always. Discounts being identical to a regular sale this is only a matter of finding a good set of skins or rely on regular sales for the specifics. Let’s see if anything stands out.
Pyke Counters
Discount: 50%
Total Price: 8704 -> 4352 RP
Skins’ Price: 4798 -> 2399 RP
There’s no doubt that Ghost Bride Morgana is the skin that sets itself apart. Armor of the Fifth Age Taric could be appealing to some but the star is the Ghost Bride. The rest are nice skins but there doesn’t seem to be anything that makes the set special on the whole.
Big Boy
Discount: 50%
Total Price: 8638 -> 4319 RP
Skins’ Price: 5774 -> 2887 RP
While the boys included are indeed big the quality of the skins isn’t. Bioforge Darius with its lighting suit and Arclight Yorick with its glows are the most interesting skins. Again, the rest are good skins yet there isn’t something that makes the set as a whole compelling.
Attack Damage
Discount: 50%
Total Price: 6978 -> 3489 RP
Skins’ Price: 3364 -> 1682 RP
This is a bundle that mixes elaborate with attractive skins and Renegade Talon. Renegade seems rough and underdeveloped in comparison to the others and becomes the lesser choice. Unless this is a skin you like then regular sales are better.
Feed Me
Discount: 50%
Total Price: 8642 -> 4321 RP
Skins’ Price: 5024 -> 2512 RP
First time that Bullet Angel Kai’Sa gets near a 50% discount but it comes with the bundle caveat. The other skins are good but Soul Reaver Draven is the less stellar due to how the theme doesn’t suit Draven. If only as a way to get a cheap Bullet Angel then know that you’ll be actually paying more; because you don’t really want the other skins. If you do like the entire set of skins, including Soul Reaver Draven, then this could be an option. Anything less and you’ll be paying extra for what you really want.
