Overview
Another Pool Party is here and so we have five new skins with a funny water theme. Some champions work better with the comic angle of the skins than others and there can be disappointments. So, take a good look at the skins before purchasing. There’s more information about the skins in the reviews.
A few other things to note are that Pool Party Lulu, Rek’Sai and Zac will be sold at 975 RP, instead of 1350 RP, until the 29th of June. Besides, the previous Pool Party skins, Graves, Leona, Ziggs, Lee Sin and Renekton, are each on sale at 50% of their price. Additionally, there’re also a couple of water related bundles. Both sales and bundles are to last until the 2nd of July.
Now, on to the bundles.
Pool Party Palooza
Discount: 44.5% for skins alone and 32.4% if you need the champions
Total Price: 16110 -> 10889 RP
Skins’ Price: 11625 -> 6449 RP
The Pool Party Palooza includes all ten Pool Party skins with a discount of around 44.5%; assuming you own the champions if not it’s less. If you like the theme as a whole it’s a tempting way of getting the skins. However, as the skins are quite uneven, some very elaborate and others little more than a re-model, it could mean that you get skins you aren’t really interested in. Therefore, it’s better left for the most dedicated Pool Party fans. After all, most of the skins are individually on sale so getting just what you like may end up saving RP.
Frozen Pool Party
Discount: 30%
Total Price: 5563 -> 3894 RP
Skins’ Price: 2923 -> 2046 RP
In theory, this is a tempting bundle as it offers three legacy skins at a discount. On the other hand, the discount is nothing formidable and the skins aren’t always the best they could be. Thus, it’s a possibility for fans of Snowdown but only if you are interested in all skins.
Also, consider that it’s highly probable that the bundle will return in the next Snowdown Showdown; by the end of the year. We could assume that the discount won’t be smaller though there are no certainties. At any rate, the skins won’t benefit from a higher price.
