Introduction: Flaming Wings

Birds are nice but nothing compares to a pet dragon. There’s a magic and a flaming attraction that makes those creatures unique. They are quite faithful and get along very well with their human friends; don’t mention owner before a dragon if you don’t want to become a living candle. There’s been all sorts of tales, and there still are, about their greed and evil and such things. It’s all an exaggeration, unfair fabrications to make these fine beasts lose their appeal. After all, what can compete with them?

Turns out that some hextech engineers have decided to test their automatic version of a dragon against the real thing. After a good anti-flame cover the prototype is ready. One of the finest and fasters dragons is convinced to participate in the test. Everyone is eager to know who can be the victor. The race starts with enough distance between them to prevent an accident; like the dragon getting rid of a poor imitation. The automata starts to gain ground on the dragon but when the time comes to land all doubts are cleared: the artificial dragon may be faster but it’ll have to be reassembled before it sees more use.
