It comes as little surprise that the star that shines the brightest in this constellation is Lux. Spellthief Lux is a skin that suits Lux’s undercover activities quite well and reveals another shade of her light. Lux fans shouldn’t miss this classic but appealing skin.
Scarlet Hammer Poppy turns her into a little behemoth of destruction wearing a nice multi-layered armour. However, she practically loses all of her characteristic yordle cuteness; to the point that she seems like a totally different individual. It’s not a bad skin but it doesn’t really feel like Poppy.
Charred Maokai shows burnt bark and chains which make him look rather serious and dark. Unfortunately, most of the changes are just different textures and he still looks a lot like his classic skin. Unless you are a dedicated treant fan it would be better to ignore this overpriced re-texture.
If you want to minimize your IP farming while completing your champion collection then Nami has come to the rescue; as she usually does. Besides, while Koi Nami will take a while to be on sale it’s a nice skin for mermaid fans. She only has one skin available and is designed as support but if you don’t mind that then this is a good chance to throw your net and catch her.
Renekton wouldn’t miss a chance like this to increase the probability of joining battles and butcher left and right; literally. His IP price is reasonable, depending on how much you play, but a purchase wouldn’t be a bad idea. He also has a good selection of skins and while Rune Wars Renekton was on sale a few months ago the rest of his skins could be discounted soon.
Finally, Nidalee is simply following her nose; she can’t ignore the scent of fish. Feline fans may consider this a good opportunity to lay their hands on her fur but her IP price really isn’t high. Moreover, her skins are nice but few and could’ve been even better after the visual upgrade; considering the huge amount of feedback. At any rate, it’s better to throw IP and fish at her than RP.
