Introduction
The serum gushed through the tubes and the Bioforge suit lit up. The man’s face was transfigured by its effects. The surge of power overflowed his senses and he felt a sudden urge to explode. A thread of sanity remained, reinforced by his will and determination, he manages to focus his attention on the enemies before him. They may outnumber him but they surely wouldn’t be overpowering his just reinforced might. Barely containing himself, he gritted his teeth and screamed with reckless abandon as he charged forward.
The three ladies stared with resignation at the berserking brute before them. Surely, he had one of those fancy modern special suits that gave him all kinds of powers but he was a primate all the same. Monkey Kings aside they knew well that there was no reasoning with him and so it was time to stop the big guy before he hurt himself or brought a building down; whatever came first. Without much effort the Prestigious Illusionist left a tray of mimics behind her that the Bioforge-suited man followed. The tidal wave from the mermaid sent him reeling back yet didn’t exactly do much to really stop him; it did make him angry though. Next came magical chains and a water cage, they didn’t last in holding him but the pouncing dragon-lady did.
With little in the way of technology, armour was as far as she went, but much in the realm of repressed fury the dragon-lady tore part by part the tubes and canister from the suit. Bubbles of water took care of washing out the serum and the array of illusions dancing before his eyes kept him well distracted. Of course, sometimes that all wasn’t enough to keep him quiet but a good old clawed smack always did the job. The threat of incineration was also quite effective as well. Bioforge suit out of the way the man staggered a few steps and fell to the ground, exhausted.
The experiment had been a success. They have had the foresight of having a few experienced warriors nearby, hired with one of their many shadow enterprises, to make sure that nothing went out of control; not too much at least. The effects of the serum had been all, no, much more, that they have expected. It was certainly ready for mass production and the suit had worked well in pumping it into the recipient. It also had shown to be too easy to shred to pieces but that was no problem. They could sell a premium version with extra protection. People always fell for those extras.
