Introduction: Come Eternum
Fans this way, a motion the other way, the Sultan is amazed at the fantastic dance the masked entertainer has gifted. The show ends and everyone is invited to a grand feast on deck. A dark figure greets them there with a warning: “It’s coming, the Eternum is coming.” The Sultan, offended, steps forward to face the stranger that appears without invitation: it’s no more than a young man in dark clothes. He laughs at him with the resounding echo of his guests but the masked artist, for once, isn’t laughing.
He explains that he has heard of them and that once an Eternum arrives, everything changes. There are stories he has heard on faraway lands about them. A warning about the Eternum is never something to laugh at. The Sultan looks disgusted, his generosity is to be wasted by old legends and rumours. He turns to face the ungrateful artist but he doesn’t get far. The ship is broken in two by the eruption of a creature, red and black, covered in glinting metal under the moonlight. The Eternum is here.
With the ship on port some guests jump to safe land and others prefer to escape into the water. The dark doomsayer appears locked in a fight with the creature and the Sultan finds his shots ineffective against the metal protection of the creature. He grabs his sword and jumps on the beast, he stabs the back but to no avail: his sword bends and breaks. The Sultan is sent flying into the sea. The entertainer steps in and throws a flurry of daggers at the creature, no effect.
He grins and throws a few boxes around it. With the ship halves almost sunk the young man won’t have long to stand on and fight. The boxes erupt with distracting sounds and the creature is confused. The young man draws his magical bow to his full power and sends out a barrage of magical energy that destroys what remained afloat of the half of the ship where the creature was; it falls into the water. The Sultan reaches port and sees the creature swimming away like a shark. “It’s not over, an Eternum never rests until change is accomplished.” says the artist. Nearby, the young man is seen hiring a small boat in pursuit of the Eternum.

Source: League of Legends News: Champion and Skin Sale: 01.19 – 01.22

A little upsetting that riot put darius’s skin on sale before actually putting darius on sale himself. Not to be mean to riot or anything, but that is a little cruel. Or perhaps they are just doing it on accident. But that does force some peeps to buy darius’s bioforge skin for 975 now, after getting the champion.
We have no idea how skins and champions are really chosen for sales. We do suggest to unlock champions with IP and rely on sales for skin purchases as the expenses quickly mount up. With the amount of both champions and skins that’s not always as feasible as theory says. Sometimes the choice is to either skip a sale or spend RP. Ideally, it’s better to wait but sales could help a bit in that regard; we agree on that.
