Overview
As usual, the approaching end of a month means bundles. Four eclectic selection of skins grace the store with results of all kinds: from the great to the less than passable. Is it worth considering any of these bundles given than they offer no real advantage over a regular sale? Let’s take a look to find out.
Summoned Summoners
Discount: 50%
Total Price: 9170 -> 4585 RP
Skins’ Price: 5246 -> 2623 RP
While Astronaut Teemo and Masked Shaco are tempting propositions the rest of the skins aren’t anything noteworthy. Neither is a bad skin but they don’t try hard enough to stand out. If you are only interested in the highlights of the bundle then this is a pass.
Heal Shells Peel Spells
Discount: 50%
Total Price: 9262 -> 4631 RP
Skins’ Price: 5774 -> 2887 RP
Even though Deep Sea Nami is the real star of the bundle she has to share the spotlight with Reaper Soraka due to her legacy status. There aren’t bad skins but as is often the case the skins seldom go out of their way to realise their concept. There’s no denying these ladies charm but unless they all seem appealing specific picking while on sale would be a better option.
Tank and Flank
Discount: 50%
Total Price: 8376 -> 4188 RP
Skins’ Price: 4798 -> 2399 RP
The best skins of this bundle are, technically, simple as they are re-models. Regardless, they are quite charming and for a discount on Goalkeeper Blitzy this may be the time. Sadly, a bundle can also mean deadweight and Sir Kled is proof of that: the skin simply isn’t up to par with what is expected. Overall, it’s quite a mixed affair that doesn’t fully compensate the bad with the good.
Watch Where You Step
Discount: 50%
Total Price: 9954 -> 4977 RP
Skins’ Price: 5550 -> 2775 RP
Much like previous bundles this has some expensive and cheap skins mixed together with an effectiveness that doesn’t always relate to their technical merits or price. The good is certainly good and the bad isn’t really bad, just alright. However, those looking for the best will find extras that come along which may not make the selection worthwhile on the whole.

Dear Zero
I’m wondering if the Summoner summons bundle is worth it. Though I do have The Legendary Teemo Skin and Wild Car Shaco, The Astronaut Teemo and the Masked Shaco are good. I don’t know if I’ll use Astronaut Teemo alot but at least, Masked Shaco would be pretty good!
Though, I do have my eye on Pentakill Yorick and Overload Malzahar.Though I don’t own the champs sadly, I wanted them since the beggining when I started playing leauge. Now, it feels like a 2 for 1 bundle with a 3000 plus rp.
Is it worth buying for the sake of those two champs and their skins..or rather..the bundle all together.
Note: I do have Hazamat Heimerdinger though!
From what you say the only skin that you really have your eye on seems to be Masked Shaco. The others wouldn’t be bad but aren’t exactly the focus. In this case, perhaps waiting for a regular sale on Masked Shaco would be a better option. There are many reasons that seem to indicate that the bundle would fit your interests but not exactly.
For example, you like Astronaut Teemo but you don’t know if you’ll play it much having Omega Squad; which is understandable. You even own Wild Card Shaco which would compete for attention with Masked. If you have gotten all you wanto from Wild Card then Masked could step in. However, if you are still focusing on Wild Card as a choice for Shaco then Masked could wait.
Then there’s the fact of Pentakill Yorick and Overlord Malzahar. You like the champions but don’t own them. However, what about the skins? Are those the skins you like the most for those champions or are they good but not really what you would choose if you could get your pick in the bundle?
We do find some good reasons to get the bundle but also many qualms about whether the whole set is the ideal choice. That’s the main issue with bundles: you don’t get a real advantage versus waiting for regular sales yet have to make compromises with the choice of skins selected.
Given that no bundle is actually cheap. We’d recommend to buy a bundle only if you are sure that you like the whole of the contents. If not, it’s better to be patient and get the skins you like in a regular sale. As there are no legacy skins in the bundle regular sale will work quite well if you can wait.
