Overview
Besides mystery chests, at 790 RP, and mystery skins, at 490 RP, there are four bundles until the end of the month; more or less. From the look of things it’s the usual assortment of great skins with some less stellar accompaniment. Still, worth giving them a look at least.
Flashy Fighters
Discount: 50%
Total Price: 9744 -> 4872 RP
Skins’ Price: 5246 -> 2623 RP
For the most part this is a good bundle with attractive skins. Some may prefer PROJECT over High Noon Yasuo but both are good options at their price. Unfortunately, Arclight Vayne is a disappointment. The model looks unfinished and the particles, while effective, are nothing groundbreaking. Therefore, those setting their eyes on Katarina’s, Riven’s and Zed’s skins, and perhaps those that like Yasuo’s as well, may be better off relying on regular sales to save RP.
Blast from the Past
Discount: 50%
Total Price: 8364 -> 4182 RP
Skins’ Price: 4646 -> 2323 RP
This is quite a good selection of skins except for the inexplicable inclusion of Molten Rammus; unless it’s added to make it appealing via its company. Aside from Molten Rammus the other skins are all good options; even Mythic Cassiopeia despite being a bit expensive for offering, essentially, a re-model. Sadly, there’s little to like in Molten Rammus, a skin at 975 RP that is little more than a re-texture. If you don’t mind the dead weight it could be a bundle for you.
Colorful Combatants
Discount: 50%
Total Price: 10680 -> 5340 RP
Skins’ Price: 5998 -> 2999 RP
The appeal of this bundle relies on the elaborate and appealing executions. However, the true highlight is Neon Strike Vi. Blood Moon Elise is also a nice skin but not as good at communicating its theme. Creator Viktor isn’t as eye-catching as it once was after its particles were used as the base for his abilities. Pool Party Zac is a skin that is too tied to its classic counterpart for its price. Lastly, Arcade Hecarim is a psychedelic excess that lacks true nostalgia. Adding it all up together, there’re some good options but this selection may end up being too uneven.
Kill Them with Cuteness
Discount: 50%
Total Price: 8774 -> 4387 RP
Skins’ Price: 5174 -> 2587 RP
The cuteness part may be something subjective as there’s as much sex appeal as colourful displays of magical power. Nevertheless, there’s little doubt that Star Guardian Lux shines brighter than the rest. Dragon Trainer Lulu tries to compete but it’s too centred on Pix. The re-models aren’t bad at all but Kitty Cat Kat is one that has too narrow a focus to stand out. Overall, it’s a bundle with its ups and downs so take into account the best and the worst on offer.
