Period: 23rd to 30th of April, 2015
Bundles: Going Commando, Short-ranged Marksman and Freakin’ Awesome Tanks

Overview
Green soldiers, ranged dangers and heavy weights gather in three bundles with rather good discounts. Yet, are the skins offered worth getting a set of them? Let’s take a quick look and see.
Going Commando
Discount: 50%
Total Price: 5994 -> 2997 RP
Skins’ Price: 2600 -> 1300 RP
Commando skins have never been particularly exciting. Not only are the executions simplistic and riddled with exaggerations but they don’t really offer features that set them apart from others; except for their colour, perhaps. Even after some visual upgrades the skins have struggled to become interesting. In spite of the low price and good discount this isn’t a bundle for everyone. Unless you specifically like the Commando line then there’s nothing here of interest.
Short-ranged Marksman
Discount: 50%
Total Price: 8670 -> 4335 RP
Skins’ Price: 4792 -> 2396 RP
This is a tempting bundle as there are a few good skins and a legacy one at half price. Mafia Jinx is one of the best skins while Hired Gun Lucian has a particular but appealing style. Battlecast Urgot is the Headman’s Pride best option but the price is high; so the discount becomes relevant. However, Hired Gun Graves is merely passable: it’s not strictly speaking bad but it’s plain and unexciting. The skin that stands out due to its legacy label is Snowstorm Sivir. It’s not the best it could be at its price but with a discount it becomes a better option.
Thus, the question becomes whether you like enough skins to get the full set. If you like most of them it’s far from a bad opportunity to get these skins; especially Snowstorm. However, some skins may not be to your liking and Hired Gun Graves doesn’t help either. Besides, Snowstorm Sivir was included in a similar bundle before so a future bundle could be a better opportunity. In the end, if you like all of the skins then this is a bundle for you but, if you don’t, consider whether it’s actually worthwhile as a whole.
Freakin’ Awesome Tanks
Discount: 50%
Total Price: 7235 -> 4341 RP
Skins’ Price: 3820 -> 2292 RP
In spite of the presence of two legacy skins this is a bundle that might be better skipped. Special Weapons Zac is good and AstroNautilus great but both can be found in a regular sale. Poro Rider Sejuani can tip the scales in the bundle’s favour but, despite the discount, it’s not such a wonderful skin to justify all that the bundle entails. Specifically, Nightmare Cho’Gath is a complete disappointment that offers nothing besides a crude re-colour. Truth be told, it’s probably better to individually get what you like and forget about this mishmash of skins.
