Introduction: Pixellated Adventures
Dashing forward, her shield absorbs the attack, stun, strike and victory. The warrior cleans the pixels of her sword and looks on the defeated robots. They are poor imitations of the real bird but in numbers they can prove a challenge; but one she overcame. Her health is low and so she runs forward, there should be a healer nearby. However, more mechanical birds appear and a cultist. Her sword glows in low resolution: “You better be ready for this serrated blade.”
She dashes forward like before and the shield protects her from the cultist ball of dark energy. Pixels explode around her and the birds are stunned. She quickly dispatches them with a series of interspersed strikes and slashes. The cultist teleports away and she follows. There’s a healer on the right but as she approaches, a group of cultist teleport before her. Only one heart remains but it beats furiously: “So you called some friends? Good, more loot to pick.”
She channels all her power into her sword. “No more games.” It grows and glows with pixellated energy. She runs forward and strikes at the nearest cultist. Leaving her classic combo behind she stands between them and unleashes energy enough to stun them all. She continues with another strike then dashes to the second one. His attack comes to naught and she strikes again. The third unleashes a slow spell but to no avail: she hops towards him, strikes and then back to the others. Finally, she unleashes a wave of pixel energy which finishes two of them; the third one teleports away. She approaches the healer.
Back to full health she follows the trace of the escaped cultist. Her sword doesn’t glow anymore but he’s severely injured. She dashes forward and two groups of birds with cultists appear. She promptly dispatches them as before. One heart left. She goes straight for the final boss. The cultist grows in size and starts to regenerate. She stops that with a stunning wave, alternates strikes and slashes only to see the cultist teleport away again. “Not again!” She dashes forward and stuns him again, in two strikes he’s down. Level complete: now she advances to the next stage. “No problem, more enemies to level up.”
