Introduction: Thieving Villains
“You won’t get away so easily from me.” The raccoon slips away into the shadows but the Princess is hot on his trail. She ventures into the shadows and through a dark corridor. She catches a glimpse of the elusive creature with his prize under his arm; she redoubles her efforts. A street displaying classy masonry on each building opens to both sides. In front of her, almost opposite to the alley, there’s an exclusive club for the aristocracy. Through a hidden side door she sees the thief enter so she ventures forward. They wouldn’t dare bar her entry, would they?
The gelatinous doorman shakes his blob-like head. The Princess inquiries without expecting much success as base to place the full weight of her title on the stuck up suit’s shoulders, without effect. Looking over his shoulder and through his head she catches the raccoon sliding to a door in a corridor. Without further arguments she simply barges in and leaves the doorman splattered all over door and frame. He reassembles quickly but is none too pleased and starts following her. “If you are going to be pestering you better be useful and tell where that door leads.” “It’s only for our most important guests and definitely no place for the likes…”
The look she gave him took care of the rest of the sentence and a good share of his attitude. “This way madam, please.” “Thanks.” “Thank you.” She entered the door and found a superbly elegant gentleman seated in a vast armchair holding the teddy bear in his hand. “Is this worth so much trouble? Are you willing to pay with gold or souls for it?” “Facing me is your best chance, you don’t want to meet the owner; but she isn’t far.” The aristocrat laughed and her boomerang flew, it missed him but caught the teddy bear by its small rucksack and both landed on her hands.
The villain, resting on the fallen armchair protested with feet high up in the air. He rolled to a side and stood up as dignified as possible. He didn’t hesitate to answer with a burst of cosmic magic that startled the Princess. Stunned by the barrage of spells the bear fell and the dressed-up toy rolled towards the villain; it certainly was bad luck, for him. The door to the room was slammed open and a little girl in a bear suit appeared. She looked at the teddy and screamed: “Tibbers!” The fur burst into flames and a gigantic bear rose like a tower over the villain before throwing him to the next building; right across the street. The girl thanked the Princess with a bow, gave her a bag of sweets and left with her burning companion. “Not exactly gold but will make an exception this time.”
