Overview
A gloomy knight, a cold elemental and a monster crab appear in this week’s sale. It doesn’t look like a particularly nice combination so let’s see what we can do with them.

Conclusion:
In spite of its name, Dreadknight Garen looks rather colourful and lean. It’s not a bad looking set of armour but it doesn’t cause much dread either. The aspect is stylish but hardly communicates the sinister air it intends. If possible, try to get it through the Twitter promotion; if it still stands. It’s a good skin but if you have to buy it you may want to consider other options as well.
With eye-catching reflections, particles, sounds and even animations Glacial Malphite is a skin that goes an extra step to implement its classic theme. It may not be anything revolutionary but it’s certainly well done and it’s a satisfying skin to use. If you are a fan of the Shard of the Monolith, then the sale is the best time to catch this expensive but appealing skin.
A skin like Giant Enemy Crabgot belongs to a very specific niche. It’s neither a particularly funny joke nor an appealing prospect to control a bizarre mutant. Even if you like the idea the novelty wears off after a while and it stays in shallow waters. Unless you are a dedicated Urgot fan or have a thing for crabs there are better options for the Headsman’s Pride.

Conclusion:
When dealing with the forces of darkness one has to be very good at managing resources so if you want to save IP then Lucian has some advice. A classy dragon-lady like Shyvana would gladly help in that endeavour too but be careful with her temper; if she gets angry, we are nothing before her. Dashing though the shadows Akali has other concerns, she can give a hand but her IP price is reasonable.
When away from the football pitch Lucian finds his skills as a Striker still useful. Hopefully that’ll convince him to offer such services at a discount. Aside from kicking balls Lucian can also be a Hired Gun if the price is right; in September, the discount made it an interesting option.
The dragon-lady is often found hovering over sales; no chances are to be missed. Her refreshing Ice Drake powers were recently seen on sale; at the beginning of March. Before that, her rustic Boneclaw style was on sale in December and her practical Ironscale armour in July. Therefore, chances are that her gloomy Darkflame will be seen soon; as it hasn’t since January, 2014.
Soon to join the ranks of the feared Headhunters, Akali could be seen lurking among the shadows last year. In November she paid her respects at the Blood Moon festival and in July her Silverfang infiltrations were more affordable. With some luck she’ll Nurse warriors to full health too as she hasn’t been volunteering since last May.
