Champions: Syndra, Viktor and Twitch
Dark armour, rule enforcement and guerrilla warfare appear in this weekend sale. There are a few things to like though there’s nothing spectacular. It could be worst so let’s go about checking them.
As, mostly, a re-model Dreadknight Nasus is a good skin. The dark and grim aesthetic stands on its own and recreates a fantastical being with magical powers. For what it offers it’s a bit expensive, as there are only model changes, but if you like it then the sale is the time to get it.
Relying on his use of cards Red Card Twisted Fate fits that aspect of his personality even though many elements remain that have little to do with a referee; a hat to start with. It’s more of a clever choice than an impressive execution but for what it offers it could be an alternative for football fans.
Although the guerrilla concept behind Resistance Caitlyn is interesting there isn’t much that comes through in the actual model. The classic base is too evident to the point that is asphyxiates the skin’s theme. The result has some semblance of the proposed idea so it could appeal to fans but it’s too centred on the classic style.
Power, without limit, is at Syndra’s fingertips and that means that if IP problems have appeared then she can wipe them out; if you have enough RP. The Glorious Evolution doesn’t stop regardless of any obstacles and if a lack of IP appears Viktor knows perfectly well how to improvise: use RP. Lastly, Twitch may be more interested in cheese than in IP but such a diet can’t be cheap. So, while his IP price is reasonable and there’s no need to use RP it can take some farming.
Preparing her Atlantean magic for a future sale has kept Syndra very busy. That would explain why we haven’t seen her enforcing law and order as a Justicar since December.
Enhancing oneself as well as others is a path that requires determination. For that reason as soon as 2015 appeared Viktor didn’t waste time in appearing as the Creator of a brighter future. In case that wasn’t enough, he returned in April in Full Machine form: another example of the greatness that awaits us.
Getting to know his Pickpocket job better before he takes a stroll around the market has meant that Twitch hasn’t been since in a while. We recall seeing him as a Gangster in April but that was in 2014 so he’s surely taking his time.
