Conclusion:
This sale is rather disappointing from a quality standpoint. Subterranean Nautilus is the best of the set with its mix of mining and underwater themes. The mining drill style isn’t bad but the water splashes don’t really pass for hydraulics. Still, it’s a rather interesting look; even if peculiar.
Neither Lord Darius nor Chrome Rammus are really good choices. Lord Darius has the unenviable ability of looking great in certain parts and terrible in others; which makes a very uneven skin. Whereas, Chrome Rammus is effectively an expensive re-colour of Rammus. The colours aren’t bad but it’s too little for too much.

Conclusion:
Varus is the obvious choice for IP farming allergics but the imminent sale of Arclight Varus is also a very good argument. The sale will take a good while to come, and Blight Crystal Varus isn’t exactly a good point either, so you may want to wait and rely on you IP reserves.
Finally, neither Karthus nor Nasus are worth expending RP on due to their low IP prices. While Karthus offers the opportunity of practically playing with Death and Nasus has a good assortment of skins it shouldn’t take long to unlock them.
