Conclusion:
This weekend sale isn’t bad but doesn’t offer anything that stands out. The three discounted skins are good but for one reason or another fail to rise above the norm. Let’s give them a closer look.
Sabretusk Sejuani nicely adapts her boar-riding preference into a fitting tribal style. The aspect is clear and, all things considered, appealing. However, her ice powers make a stark contrast with the aboriginal theme. The aspect is good but the whole of the idea isn’t executed in the best of ways.
Cowgirl Miss Fortune surely makes the Bounty Hunter look attractive and as a Far West reference it serves. Still, the skin might be too revealing for some tastes and not a very serious tribute as well. Overall, it suits Miss Fortune’s enticing personality but it’s not for everybody.
Commando Lux has a fine army concept but the execution is far from what the splash art would lead one to believe. The appearance manages to somewhat convey the idea but Lux simply looks plain. There are better options for Lux but if green is what you have in mind then Commando Lux delivers.

Conclusion:
There are many ways of avoiding farming and charms are a valid option. This weekend, you can rely on Ahri’s abilities to quicken your champion roster completion. In terms of looks she has nice options but Foxfire and Dynasty Ahri have already been discounted this year. Yet not all is lost because if you’d like a nice fur suit for her then Midnight Ahri is a foreseeable possibility.
Leona can also be a good option to save on farming if you don’t usually gather much IP. She also comes in handy to support your team and for that she has a good selection of armours. This year, Iron Solari and Valkyrie Leona have been on sale but if you’d rather something sturdier, a future Defender Leona sale can be what you need.
Finally, Lux’s low IP price doesn’t make a purchase very attractive. She does have good looking skins but Commando’s sale isn’t ideal to make you buy her. At any rate, it’s better to reserve RP for her skins and rely on IP to unlock her. In fact, Sorceress, Imperial and Spellthief Lux were already discounted this year. Therefore, there’s time to amass IP until the Steel Legion calls.
