Conclusion:
This weekend presents a trio of rather nice skins; one of which has been eagerly awaited. For many the time has finally come as Full Metal Rammus is on sale at last. Still, while that may be the standout it shouldn’t eclipse the attractive options that are High Command Katarina and Road Warrior Miss Fortune.
To start with, Full Metal Rammus is without doubt the highlight of the sale. It’s a fantastic skin that offers a very well done model with apt particles, animations and sounds to fully turn Rammus into a machine. Fans of Rammus won’t have to think this over much. Yet, even if you aren’t a fan, Full Metal Rammus is good enough to be worth considering.
High Command Katarina and Road Warrior Miss Fortune may be more modest in comparison to Full Metal Rammus but what they provide is quite nice anyway. Katarina embodies a military aristocrat without leaving her assassin role behind. Miss Fortune finely portrays the look of a post-apocalyptic wasteland survivor. Both skins have a few issues but they are minor. Overall, they are great choices with interesting themes.

Conclusion:
As far as avoiding IP farming this weekend sale doesn’t include the best options. At 4800 IP a champion seems a bit expensive but with some extra farming the price is reachable. Depends on how much IP you accumulate so some people may not find it too high of an obstacle while for others it can certainly be.
Miss Fortunes is also present on the skin sale but Road Warrior may not be charming enough to warrant purchasing the champion with RP. This is especially relevant as Waterloo, Mafia and Secret Agent Miss Fortune were already on sale early this year. There are other good choices but as most of her skins are good RP is better reserved to that end.
Something similar happens with Vayne as she also has a nice assortment of skins. However, Vindicator and Heartseeker were already on sale so only Aristocrat and Dragonslayer Vayne can go on sale in the foreseeable future. They are good skins but as sales are so unpredictable you may find enough IP to unlock her by then. Still, the safer option would be to catch the Night Hunter now.
Finally, Pantheon isn’t really worth purchasing with RP. Not only is his IP price reasonable but also most of his skins were already on sale this year. Considering this, it’s better to save RP for skins and let IP be the key to his unlocking.
