Conclusion:
This sale offers an interesting array of skins with different but attractive concepts and visuals. The unavoidable recommendation is certainly Iron Solari Leona with its preposterous but well executed avian theme. The visuals are carefully designed and consistently add to the distinct feel of the skin. If you like Leona then Iron Solari Leona is a fantastic skin to have.
Bird of Prey Anivia is a simple re-texture but it’s also quite effective in its implementation. The concept doesn’t finely mesh with her ice nature but the new aesthetic is attractive and clear. Considering the visuals and price the skin is definitely satisfying and a good option for Anivia fans.
For something more futuristic Mecha Kha’Zix delivers. The skin is quite elaborate even if the changes aren’t that extensive. Besides, they aren’t always eye-catching though there are a few stand outs; like Void Assault. However, at half price the skin becomes a much better option. Thus, despite the other sale skins being cheaper, if you like Mecha Kha’Zix there will be few better opportunities to lay your hands on it.

Conclusion:
The ladies present the best choices for avoiding IP farming; especially Zyra, which is peculiar coming from a plant girl. As for skins, Wildfire Zyra is rather nice but also rather expensive so a sale would be welcome. As it was discounted last December a sale is possible but being so unpredictable it could be enough time to rely on just IP.
Caitlyn could be a good option depending on how much IP you usually accumulate. She also has a varied group of skins and except for her Sheriff outfit they could all go on sale. There may be time to unlock her anyway but now is the time to play it safe.
Finally, there’s practically no reason to unlock Tryndamere; unless you are going berserk for a furious barbarian. His IP price is quite low so RP is better reserved for his many and interesting skins. In theory, any of his skins could be discounted soon. Yet, that shouldn’t pose much of a problem as not much farming would be necessary.
