Conclusion:
This sale is rather uneven as the skins have quite varied quality. The highlight is Dark Crystal Ryze while Bilgewater Katarina is an acceptable choice. However, Forsaken Olaf isn’t particularly appealing. Let’s give them a closer look.
Dark Crystal Ryze is a skin with a concept as rich as its visuals. This Ryze could equally be the result of his powerful magic and the secrets he protects as well as a demon bent on acquiring such knowledge. It may just be a re-model but the amount of detail and attractive aspect surely make it a great choice for Ryze fans.
Bilgewater Katarina is a nice skin that captures enough of the corsair feel. However, it also has a vein of femme fatale in her which, along with the general aesthetic, is kept from Classic Katarina. Essentially, it’s a skin that manages its aim but not at the level that its price sets.
In the case of Forsaken Olaf, it seems quite a simplistic skin. The re-texture simply adds dark hues to his look but they don’t exactly improve it. In fact, they make him look monochromatic and also conceal details like folds and seams. Unless this colour scheme is particularly attractive to you, there are better options.

Conclusion:
Fiora leads the vanguard this week against IP farming. It also helps that she has rather nice skins and that they were last discounted last year. Due to the unpredictability of sales you could simply farm and wait if you are not in a rush. Regardless, to play it safe and save time Fiora surely is a good option.
Ezreal can be a good choice to avoid farming as well but his price may not be as difficult to reach; depending on how much IP you regularly accumulate. Unfortunately, his most interesting skins are either unavailable or extremely expensive. Therefore, if you aren’t eagerly awaiting a specific skin, only less farming or personal preference are reasons to purchase him
Finally, while Nasus offers a rather nice selection of skins and knows a thing or two about farming his low price makes purchasing him unnecessary. It wouldn’t take long to unlock him with IP and RP is better spent on his skins. Dreadknight was already discounted at the beginning of this year but all the others can go on sale at any time.
