Conclusion:
With a chill, this sale offers three skins that range from the fantastic to the merely passable. Let’s give them a quick look.
Frost Queen Janna is a spectacular skin that effectively delivers its ice theme. The clothes are certainly fantastical but added to the particles it becomes an eye-catching blizzard. All in all, it’s a skin with the power of converting new subjects to the Frost Queen’s cause.
Frostfire Annie also delivers an astounding show of cold flames. The dress could be more believable, in terms of weather protection, and Tibbers could look more similar to a polar bear. Nevertheless, the visuals are undoubtedly attractive and, ultimately, Frostfire Annie is one of the best skins available.
Frosted Ezreal struggles to stay afloat among the high level of the previous offerings. In fact, it’s a bit of a letdown as it’s only a re-texture that more than frosted seems gothic. Still, fans of the Prodigal Explorer may find it an acceptable alternative to the classic look.

Conclusion:
To avoid farming IP this cold week, according to the company, better to rely on Volibear and Irelia. Both have fitting cold themes at their disposal so it’s sensible to take them into consideration. In the case of Janna, despite the presence of the Frost Queen, it’s wise to consider saving on RP. As her IP price is rather manageable, better to pay tribute to her icy majesty.
Continuing with skins but more precisely, Runeguard Volibear still has a long way to go until it goes on sale. Besides, Northern Storm was discounted twice on 2013, last time in September, and Thunderlord in March.
Irelia has had all of her skins discounted in 2013 but Nightblade was on sale on April; so there’s some hope. Unfortunately, Frost Blade was offered on October so there isn’t much need to rush if that’s on your radar.
Finally, Janna’s low IP price means that it’s better to spend RP on the Frost Queen. Her other skins were on sale early in the year: Hextech on May and Tempest on March. So, while there’s a chance that they’ll return there’s no firm possibility.
