Summary
Period: 19th to 26th of November, 2013
Bundles: The Bear Essentials, Masters of Malpractice, Biker Boys and Carry Your Carry
Note: the bundles reduce their prices depending on which content you already own. In case you don’t own a champion in a skin bundle the price rises by the champion’s price.
November arrives with four bundles and moderate discounts; perhaps too moderate. Regardless, there can be something of interest if you are willing to pay a little more or if you are a fan of some specific themes.
Overview
The Bear Essentials
Discount: 40%
Total Price: 7070 -> 4242 RP
Skins’ Price: 4275 -> 2565 RP
It could very well be said that theme that links these skins is unevenly spread among them. Regardless, they do share a theme. In general theyskins are good with a few standouts but the discount rate doesn’t make for a compelling argument. That’s because you have to buy them all at once and there could be a few skins you aren’t interested in. It’s a good bundle but it could be better with a more reasonable 50% off.
Masters of Malpractice
Discount: 30%
Total Price: 5384 -> 3769 RP
Skins’ Price: 2925 -> 2047 RP
If you are a fan of ninja medicine then this is the bundle you need. The skins are acceptable at best and for many the only highlight would be Akali. All in all, considering the low discount and necessity of acquiring all skins at once this is a bundle that doesn’t offer much over common sales.
Biker Boys
Discount: 50%
Total Price: 7890 -> 3945 RP
Skins’ Price: 3965 -> 1982 RP
The bundle for the Vandal enthusiast has arrived: the complete set of Vandal skins along a reasonable discount. Not all of the Vandal skins are equally good but Vandal fans won’t find a better opportunity to finish their collection. Except for the fact that they have to buy champions they don’t own with RP it’s practically ideal. So, if that isn’t a concern then it’s a Vandal’s dream come true.
Carry Your Carry
Discount: 25%
Total Price: 4780 -> 3585 RP
As carries seem to be unable to find their way to a lane without the constant supervision of support this bundle can come in handy. This set of champions offers an interesting array of different play-styles within the support role. The problem comes with the low discount. At a glance, it’s a good bundle for those interested in support champions but they may be better off farming IP or waiting for regular sales.
