Conclusion:
The weekend comes with a sale that offers some good skins but none that stand out. Let’s give them a quick look.
Infiltrator Irelia has an attractive cyberpunk concept but the execution doesn’t make the most of it. It not only reuses assets but it also doesn’t communicate the high technology at her disposal. All in all, there are better options for the Will of the Blades.
Runeborn Xerath modifies the aspect of his minimal sarcophagus and the colour of his magical energy; but only on his body, his abilities are unaffected. Therefore, the skin not only feels disconnected but also doesn’t offer much in the way of looks. While it’s not a terrible skin it’s not even more than a cheaper option.
Resistance Caitlyn is an acceptable skin with a clear albeit unexploited concept. The idea of Caitlyn joining a military group as a sniper is hardly a stretch but the firm classic base prevents the skin from displaying its whole identity. On the whole, it’s an alright alternative for fans of the Sheriff.

Conclusion:
To avoid IP farming and help complete a champion roster, you can rely on Thresh and Wukong. Shaco has a reasonable enough IP price so as not to be too difficult to unlock. However, skins could change how this sale is seen.
Speaking of which, Deep Terror Thresh shouldn’t take too long to go on sale; if sales weren’t taking so long lately. It’s a possibility to play it safe looking towards this skin but if Championship was what you wanted then there’s no need.
General Wukong was discounted on June but Jade Dragon on January; which means it could return, though it might have to wait until a special Lunar Revel sale. Regardless, Volcanic Wukong is a possibility as it hasn’t been on sale since last December.
Finally, Masked Shaco is a skin that is taking a while to go on sale, as most of the newer ones; even if they shouldn’t. Moreover, Asylum and Mad Hatter Shaco were on sale on 2013. Still, even if a Royal Jester is on your sights IP might be the better option.
