Conclusion:
This week sale offers rather nice skins that stand as some of the best choices for the corresponding champions. The styles are different but they are all good options; let’s give them a look.
Redeemed Riven not only provides a glimpse at the Exile’s future but also some reasonable, even if stylized, armour. The mysterious hood and interesting sword also add to the appeal of the skin. All in all, it’s a great look for Riven and definitely a great option for her fans.
Blackthorn Morgana has a fantastic theme with an exquisite execution; the only problem is the high price. Being on sale, it’s a much better alternative that maintains Morgana’s dark mysticism while adding an interesting floral style. If you like Morgana then this is one of her best skins. Therefore, the time to get Blackthorn Morgana is now.
Battlecast Xerath is quite modest in comparison with most skins but with little finely adapts the Magus into a technological marvel. The model is wholly new despite being small and the red energy instils a distinct personality to the skin. It may not be the most elaborate of styles but it remains an interesting option for Xerath.

Conclusion:
To avoid farming IP there’s nothing better than to ask for some lunar help. Diana is the best option to complete a champion roster but it’s not just that. If you’d also like her Dark Valkyrie appearance then it would also be a good chance to get ready. The skin hasn’t been on sale since December of 2012 so it should be discounted, sooner or later.
Yorick can also be a good choice if you don’t usually accrue much IP. In terms of skins, Pentakill was discounted not long ago but Undertaker has been waiting since last year. So, if you are looking for some funeral services for your enemies this seems like an interesting opportunity.
Finally, Corki is better unlocked with IP instead of purchasing him. Dragonwing may still take a while to go on sale and his other skins where on sale by the beginning of 2013. Thus, there isn’t much reason to rush as it shouldn’t take long to get enough IP. Even if you want to play it safe, you might find that it’s better to reserve RP for his skins instead.

I think it’s worth mentioning that BC Xerath might be a worthwhile investment, as he is going to be improved soon. He won’t get a complete visual update, but they are going to update the classic particles, so they may color them for his skins. It’s a small investment for a great potential gain.
It’s a possibility, it depends on what they end up actually updating. Still, it may be safest to buy a skin if you like it as it is; unless there’s a confirmed visual upgrade.
