Conclusion:
This weekend sale starts better than it ends but that doesn’t mean that the overall quality is bad. On the whole, it’s a good sale with interesting options; let’s give them a look.
Jurassic Kog’Maw may seem quite a different take on the Void Puppy but it actually keeps a certain degree of his peculiar cuteness. In terms of skeletal structure it hardly is the most believable of interpretations. Regardless, the aspect is appealing and distinct. All in all, Kog’Maw fans will find this a very nice alternative.
Nightraven Fiora takes a lot of inspiration from Zorro but that’s hardly a bad thing. Her appearance is elegant and attractive keeping a good balance between function and form. Truth be told, it’s a classic and interesting concept with a good execution so Fiora fans will find it a very good choice for the Grand Duelist.
Totemic Maokai is a skin that doesn’t stand out very well. That’s because, aside from the totemic face and beaked saplings, the skin doesn’t offer anything relevant. Considering its price, it manages to implement its concept to an extent. Nonetheless, the drab colours and subdued patterns don’t make it particularly charming.

Conclusion:
A way of avoiding farming IP is to hunt some live prey instead. If that sounds to your liking then there’s a predator you should consider. Rengar is the best option to complete a champion roster but, sadly, there’s no other reason. Headhunter Rengar was on sale this July so if you don’t need his specific services, you may opt to pass.
Ezreal can also be a good option if you don’t regularly amass much IP. Besides, only Explorer Ezreal was on sale this year and it was the very first sale. Therefore, if you wish to embark on some spelunking or frosty explorations then now would be a good time to play it safe. Still, remember that as sales are so unpredictable you may find you have enough IP by the time the skins are discounted.
Finally, Taric isn’t really worth purchasing as his IP price is quite low. While only Armor of the Fifth Age was discounted on 2013, on January, it wouldn’t take much time to gather enough IP to unlock him. Thus, even if you have Bloodstone on your sights, there’s no need to rush.
