Conclusion:
It could be said that this weekend sale offers as much quality as you are willing to pay. That’s because of the diminishing complexity of the skins as their price goes down. Let’s see what’s on offer.
Darkforge Jarvan IV dresses the Prince in classy and attractive armour that is as refined as it is fitting. There are some evident touches of form over function but overall it’s a rather practical set of armour. Fans of Jarvan and imposing armoured warriors will find this a very good option.
Apocalyptic Brand adds a layer of sci-fi but the suggestion of a wasteland survivor mostly stays at that. In spite of looking correct the aspect is unexciting while the Classic Brand base is noticeable. It’s hardly a terrible skin but Brand can do much better than this.
The lady of the sale dons some green apparel and calls it a day. In fact, Sherwood Forest Ashe is little more than green Ashe and while the colour isn’t bad it’s not very different from Classic Ashe. It’s certainly a cheap skin but also uninspired.

Conclusion:
To avoid IP farming you can negotiate your way around the issue or simply wreck it all. If you’d rather choose the latter then there’s good news: here comes Vi. This lady is a good choice for completing a champion roster and also offers a nice sci-fi look. Not only hasn’t Neon Strike Vi been on sale yet but it shouldn’t take too long to be discounted. All in all, Vi looks like a tempting purchase.
If you’d rather coat enemies in fear before slicing them then you need some darkness. Nocturne is another good choice provided you don’t usually farm much IP; as his IP price isn’t the highest. On skins, Ravager, Void and Frozen Terror Nocturne were already on sale on 2013. Although the latter could be discounted again there isn’t much of a rush to unlock Nocturne; unless you are thinking about Eternum.
Finally, while Teemo has a varied selection of skins his low IP price makes a purchase not the best alternative. Actually, it would be better to reserve RP for one of his skins instead. Cottontail and Recon Teemo were the only skins to be on sale this year but at the very beginning. Thus, even if there are some skins you like it won’t take long to unlock the Swift Scout.
