Conclusion:

The skins in this week’s sale are, generally speaking, good but don’t reach high enough to really stand out. Overall, they are all nice choices worth considering for fans of the respective champions. Let’s give them a closer look.

If you are in the mood for a vicious slaughter of enemies then Bloodfury Renekton is the crocodile you need. This skin outfits him in practical yet striking armour and also provides an impressive sword to match it. The result is tailor made for Renekton and is certainly attractive. Bloodfury Renekton may not go an extra step to shine and, ultimately, does only one thing; but what it does it does very well.

Urgot can be considered a champion with appeal-related issues. Therefore, Battlecast Urgot is a great option to solve most of them. As a tank-robot Urgot becomes a machine of destruction that provides a rather eye-catching display of effects in battle. Sadly, the skin also asks for quite a high price; even if the sale lessens the impact it’s still there. In the end, if you like Urgot or the idea of an unstoppable robot then this is your best chance.

Clubbing and batting enemies to the ground are activities that aren’t very different and also fit Trundle’s abilities. Lil’ Slugger Trundle is direct in its approach: new clothes and a baseball bat with a thin, rough layer over them. The look is distinct and clear but it stays at just that. Trundle and baseball fans can find a few things to like in the skin if they can excuse its rough edges.

Champions:

Morgana

Graves Kog’Maw

Conclusion:

When you have to do something you don’t want an ol’ double-barrelled no can be quite a statement. So, if you want to avoid IP farming just add Malcolm Graves to you roster and worry only about nicely repaying the Card Master. In terms of looks, Hired Gun was discounted this year but Jailbreak and Mafia haven’t. If those skins are in your sights, then now is a good time to play it safe.

If you don’t usually accrue much IP Kog’Maw can also be a good option to save on farming. As far as skins go, Monarch and Deep Sea Kog’Maw were on sale this year but not Jurassic and Lion Dance Kog’Maw. Thus, purchasing the void puppy or farming IP are the options to be prepared for their eventual sale.

Finally, Morgana’s low IP price means that there isn’t much reason not to save RP for her multiple and attractive skins. Unfortunately, Ghost Bride Morgana will still take a while to go on sale. Besides, all her other skins have been already on sale this year; Blackthorn at the beginning. Consequently, there aren’t many reasons to purchase Morgana unless you are in dire need of a fallen angel.
