Overview

An alien emperor, a fashionable deceiver and a green lady approach the market this weekend. It’s all well and good but someone should go and greet them. Let’s do our part then.

Conclusion:

Although not as alien as one would expect Galactic Azir retains the glamour expected from an emperor. At times it can seem a re-colour but there’s noticeable work to make the theme stand out. The result isn’t always as good as it could or should be yet it’s quite a good skin nonetheless. Even if it’s not as sci-fi as it deserves it’s a great choice for fans of the Emperor.

Essentially a change of clothes, Wicked LeBlanc’s most remarkable feature is its 101 Dalmatians reference. As a new look it’s alright but nothing special. That doesn’t make the skin bad either but there isn’t anything that really sets it apart. For fans of the film it can be a nice homage but that aside it’s just an acceptable change of looks.

In technical terms, Commando Lux is a full re-model of the Lady of Luminosity. Yet, it’s not one that presents an exciting appearance. The dull green hues and simple design pales in comparison to the promise made by the splash art. As a military skin for Lux it’s passable but even at that there are better options.

Champions:

Thresh

Lee Sin Pantheon

880 -> 440 RP / 4800 IP 790 -> 395 RP / 3150 IP

Conclusion:

If you are finding IP insufficient to complete your champion collection then you might as well get your hooks on Thresh and solve that problem; provided you have a good amount of RP. Lee Sin would gladly follow suit but though he asks for just as much RP he saves a bit less IP. Finally, Pantheon’s interest lay elsewhere so you won’t need much IP to hire his unequalled skill as a baker.

Long time no see Thresh, despite presenting some new costumes and bundles it’s been over a year since he appeared at a sale. It was September 2014 when his Deep Terror trips were discounted. Since then there has been a Blood Moon but nothing about reaching the market with a price reduction. Well, the time for a new Lunar Revel slowly approaches so our luck may change. He may just be polishing his lamp after all.

It’s still too early for Lee Sin to discount his Knockout boxing lessons but that’s not to say that there’s nothing for us to learn. In August he instructed in the ways of the Acolyte, in July in the arts of Muay Thai and in June about Pool Party beverages. That’s not all, if we look at 2014 then we find that in December he taught the way of the Dragon Fist and in November traditional martial arts. That means that there’s a couple of lessons that we may be able to retake at half price; as long as we are patient like a good grasshopper.

Just preparing his gear and revving up his chainsaw Pantheon is almost ready to face the legions of undead that are coming. Until then we should know that it’s not the only thing that the Artisan has been busy with lately; baking aside. This August he slashed prices in half for the Dragonslayer club and in June he offered discounted Glaive Warrior equipment. That’s not all there is: since his Full Metal and Myrmidon gear hasn’t been on sale since 2014, December and July, we ought to see them return. The zombies may intend to overrun him but they won’t be an obstacle in the way to the market; it’s only a leap away.
