Overview
A prehistoric ambush, cold-blooded strategy and fluttering artillery can make quite an unusual battlefield. Stranger things have been seen but this weekend wants to contend with the best. How does it come out then? Better to take cover and take a peek.

Conclusion:
If we consider the cute, costumed yordle angle then Dino Gnar works. The problem is that the skin is mostly based on going from a furry beast to a scaly dinosaur. The playful costume and toys facet is rather unexploited so that’s only visible in Mini Gnar. Mega Gnar is just a cartoony monster with little to impress; though charming. For fans of Gnar it could be a fine option but the Gentleman could be a better alternative; when it eventually reaches a sale.
A military uniform fits very well a tactician so Northern Front Swain is a sensible skin. Said uniform is reasonably designed and Beatrice is transformed into a white owl so as to match the style. The mere re-colour of his raven form can feel disappointing but at least matches the visuals of the human form. Overall, for a re-model it presents a nice concept with a good implementation. At its price, it’s a great alternative for fans of the Master Tactician.
In spite of only having minor model changes Monarch Kog’Maw manages to impress. The bright colour scheme certainly attracts the eye but what really set the skin apart is the new butterfly wings and their new flutter animation. Considering the general result the skin manages an attractive aesthetic with few changes. Due to its low price and pleasing results it’s a fantastic option for Koggy fans.
Champions:
| Syndra | |
| Maokai | Kassadin |
Conclusion:
The earth-shattering power of Syndra knows no bounds so saving IP is a mere trifle for her: just disburse the RP and tremble before her. The magic that turned Maokai into a sentient being also allows him to defy the laws of nature, like avoiding the IP farm; if there’s enough RP involved he’ll lend a smiling hand. Riftwalking between worlds Kassadin has seen many things that have allowed him to understand the futility of finances so his IP price is low enough not to be an obstacle, just a light challenge.
The mystical might of Syndra lets her perform incredible feats. This July she gladly took visitors through Atlantean landscapes at half the usual fee. Every security procedure was observed so nobody suffered any incident. That could explain why there was no need for the Justicar to appear and dispense some order. The Justicar will return anyway and even reduce fines by half, for a while, as she did in November; after all she does like her job.
Sowing his seeds on the market has allowed Maokai to reap some very tangible monetary rewards. In September he harvested Totemic saplings and in August a strange variant fit for a Goalkeeper or any football fan, actually. The season for Haunted blooms is around the corner and it may come before any Charred saplings appear. There haven’t been any since April 2014 and that may be for the better.
