Overview
A ruler of the Void, an armour of tomorrow and an emo guy appear in this week’s sale. Some seem more motivated than others so let’s check what moves them.

Conclusion:
The name of Overlord Malzahar states more than the actual skin says. While the new armour for Malzahar and voidlings is nice there aren’t any other changes that are worthwhile. It’s essentially an armoured version and not a particularly deep one. For fans of the Prophet it’s an option but a shallow one.
Pushing technology to its limits Full Metal Jayce is a reasonable corollary to his technical expertise. While the armour is attractive the particles aren’t really impressive even though the new aspect is rather nice. There’s only a processed voice-over to explain the high price so that skin can feel lacking in additions. It’s an appealing idea but it should do more for what it asks.
In spite of its name, Frosted Ezreal is actually a goth or emo version of him. There’s no ice to speak of but instead the leather clothes and makeup identify the skin. That’s not to say that the new colours aren’t eye-catching so it’s not a bad skin to get. It’s a skin that offers a distinct change of colours so it’s an acceptable alternative as long as you consider it for what it really is.

Conclusion:
If you want to save IP this week then let the Spider Queen weave her web: Elise is the best option; for quite some RP. Raw magic can also help so Xerath can also be a good choice. Finally, being a veteran of several battles Teemo holds little interest for IP; so it won’t take much to hire the Captain.
The Blood Moon is still young for Elise so there won’t be any discounts until it gets a bit older. In the meantime, we should expect her Death Blossom to appear on sale; which may not be soon as last time was in December. She might still be dangerous but all those flowers surely suit her.
Recently joining as a Guardian of the Sands Xerath will need some time to get used to this new endeavour. That’s not to say that he’s been idle: this April his Runeborn magic was seen on sale. In November we witnessed the Scorched Earth that his flames can cause. With all that power there’s no doubt that a Battlecast based on him has been built. If you’d like a unit then we shouldn’t have to wait too much as it was last discounted on September.
Captain Teemo is a rather busy scout. When not in the Omega Squad we may find Super Teemo soaring though the February skies. He sometimes explores as a Panda, as seen in October, or as a Cottontail bunny, as in June. There are times when he even goes out of the atmosphere as an Astronaut but it’s been over a year since that: last March was the anniversary.
