Overview

A capricious witch, a sexy copper and a kimono-wearing lady grace with their presence this week’s sale. Let’s not make the dames wait and go straight to the point.

Conclusion:

The traditional concept behind Wicked Lulu is actually its most attractive feature. Becoming a mischievous dark witch is rather suitable for the Fae Sorceress and the execution with its straightforward angle makes it quite appealing. Even if it’s a skin that doesn’t redefine Lulu it certainly is one that fans would enjoy.

As a sexualized policewoman Officer Caitlyn is a decidedly uneven skin. The uniform is only concerned with sex appeal and despite being centred on that seems strangely shy to go all the way with the theme; as the low heeled boots show, for instance. The only saving grace is the marvellous sniper rifle: complex and effective it seems like the perfect weapon for the discerning sniper. Therefore, the skin is sexy but not as much as it could and only the rifle stands out. It offers something but it doesn’t implement it well.

In general, Sakura Karma is a skin that seems reluctant to really portray the Enlightened One as a geisha. It adopts some of the clothing and accessories but without really making a convincing and faithful statement. The price is low but the concept is also vaguely touched. There’re better options for Karma but this is the one with the kimono.

Conclusion:

An expert scouting duo like Quinn and Valor are a great way of saving IP. Renekton would get all grumpy if we didn’t consider him a good option too but his temper means that he isn’t as reliable. Finally, Xin Zhao has other concerns to worry about IP: you won’t need much to hire the Seneschal.

As we wait for her Woad Scout service to become discounted we can only look at her Phoenix homage as an option. Her Phoenix style was discounted on April so it’s not far from reaching a year without a sale. In theory it should return soon to a sale but in practice patience will be required.

With Renekton’s still queuing to reach a sale with his pretentious Scorched Earth armour and earring we have to look back to see what else remains. That reveals that in December the Butcher unleashed Bloodfury without a care, which is surprising as in September he was all cool about a Pool Party. What should be a possibility soon is for Renekton to recreate the Rune Wars; he likes such blood-shedding activities.

With rumours about his ties with the secret service running wild Xin Zhao will have to work hard to stay as a feared warrior. This January he was seen as an Imperial solider, last December wearing his Winged Hussar armour and in October as part of the Warring Kingdoms. That’s fine but what about his Commando suit which hasn’t been seen since November 2013. Such ties to the military certainly don’t help and if they are verified the Seneschal will have much to explain.
