Overview
A warring ruler, a heavenly healer and a brave pilot appear to close a year and open a new one. It looks like trouble is brewing on the horizon so let’s prepare ourselves for the coming storm.

Conclusion:
In spite of the interesting Sandokan reference Sultan Gangplank is a simple skin. The model is good and there are a few extras to complement the style. However, nowadays one is to expect better from a skin at this price. If you are a fan of the theme the skin has something to offer but there’s better.
Even after the game-play update Celestine Soraka is a special skin with a fantastic theme. The model is nice but the particles seem a re-colour of the classic ones. Still, some survived the update and, along the new sounds, provide the skin with an appealing identity. Celestine Soraka is still a great skin to get but not the stardust-covered marvel it once was.
As a sort of hextech pilot Aviator Irelia is a skin that looks different yet doesn’t impress. The model changes are clear but the adaptation somewhat convoluted. If you are looking for refreshing aspect for the Will of the Blades this isn’t a bad option.

Conclusion:
The world is a mere toy for Syndra’s might so saving IP isn’t something that would strain her. Leona’s a staunch defender and can use her shield against IP expenses; even if it isn’t as effective. Exploding a block in liquor might also work but Gragas has other interests so IP isn’t a main concern for him; which explains his reasonable IP price.
Being not yet comfortable enough to invite many in her Atlantean journeys Syndra hasn’t been quiet though. This December she appeared in full Justicar armour as if she had come from an alternate dimension. Perhaps there’s always a light that never goes out.
It’s been a busy year for Leona, it seem protectors are in high demand. In December she appeared as a stoic Defender, in November a mythical Valkyrie, in October she lounged around a Pool Party and in September she lead the charge of the Iron Solari. So much work, good thing she has a varied wardrobe.
When to take a pint? Always, of course. If Gragas asks, just in case he forgot, he took one in November for Oktoberfest; a bit late but parties are made to last. Before that, in July, he tried his hand at the distillery of a Hillbilly and in March he had one with the Vandal guys. That goes to show that his Esq. profession isn’t that necessary as he hasn’t worn that suit since December, 2013.
