Conclusion:
This weekend sale doesn’t offer exciting skins but there some things to like from what’s available. While initially it doesn’t give a really good first impression there’s more beyond it. Let’s give them a look.
Officer Caitlyn tries to turn the Sheriff into a sexy policewoman but it doesn’t succeed due to its inconsistent execution. For instance, she could’ve worn a badge, have a skirt different to her classic one and wear high heels. As it is, it only provides a fantastic looking rifle.
Northern Storm Volibear has a peculiar concept but a disappointing implementation. The idea behind it is original, due to its disregard of conventions, but it doesn’t come off as something attractive. It’s an interesting skin but hardly stands out.
Aviator Irelia has a rather novel interpretation of Irelia but the concept seems a bit forced and not exploited as much as it could’ve. In general, it has a distinct appearance but doesn’t strike as a natural fit for Irelia.

Conclusion:
Pure, unbound, overpowering arcane might is not something for everyone and while it seems an attractive prospect it may be better left for professionals. Xerath is one of them and such power allows him to help avoid a good deal of IP farming. Unfortunately, Runeborn and Scorched Earth Xerath were on sale by the beginning of 2013 yet they could return like his Battlecast self; though it may take a while.
More blunt but also useful can be a huge club which is what Trundle provides. He’s a feasible option if you don’t gather much IP habitually. However, both Lil’ Slugger and Junkyard Trundle were on sale this year. Thus, sans joining his frozen domain, there isn’t much reason to rush.
Finally, Amumu’s low IP price won’t be good news for the mummy’s unstable emotional state as it means that purchasing him isn’t the best of options. Add to that the fact that all of his skins were on sale this year and we are left with a river of tears. Sad Robot could return as it was discounted at the very beginning of 2013 but there’s no need to rush as it wouldn’t take much IP to unlock Amumu.
