Conclusion:
This week fire is the theme but it seems that not all champions can wield flames with equal ease. Let’s give them a quick look.
Firefang Warick has different armour that frames his flaming body. The look is eye-catching but upon closer inspection issues start to appear. On the whole, it’s a skin that delivers its theme without standing out. It’s not a bad choice but there’s better.
Scorched Earth Xerath almost reinvents the Magus Ascendant as a living furnace. A fascinating model is supported by astounding particles and fitting sounds to represent flames in a great way. The price is surely high but being on sale now becomes the ideal chance to get this wonderful skin.
The last one is Hot Rod Corki, which is a rather modest skin by all accounts: it simply modifies Corki a bit along a new coat of paint for his copter. The idea is certainly implemented but as simply as possible. Unless you are a huge fan of Corki or Hot Rods, there isn’t much to get excited about.

Conclusion:
Those averse to farming IP will find the Spider Queen and the Lady of Clockwork as the ideal companions. Lux shouldn’t be dismissed either but as her IP price is reasonable it might not be so difficult to unlock her without RP expenses.
As far as skins go, Death Blossom Elise was discounted on August so the Spider Queen is a bit short of future surprises. The same happens with Orianna as Bladecraft and Sewn Chaos were discounted around the middle of the year. However, Gothic Orianna was on sale on April so there’s a slight chance that she’ll reappear; though it’s difficult to be sure so there’s no need to rush.
Finally, Steel Legion Lux is only a couple of new skins away from reaching a sale yet that can take more time that it sounds like. That aside, Commando and Sorceress were discounted near the middle of the year, Imperial in April and Spellthief on February. The latter ones could return, especially Spellthief, but you should take these predictions with a lot of patience.
