This is not a bad selection of skins but King Tryndamere raises to the top with his regal attire and lore hint. The clothes are richly embroidered while the sword is nicely ornamented; fitting for a monarch. It’s definitely on the fantastic side but it’s appealing nonetheless.
Kennen M.D. is a skin that doesn’t look serious nor is it really funny. The doctor appearance is realized and the scalpels turned into shurikens add to the theme. Regardless, it seems rather whimsical and doesn’t look like the best concept for Kennen.
Bilgewater Swain is also a skin that seems trapped between serious and funny. Although it doesn’t need either to portray its look, the execution doesn’t seem to aim further than a pirate outfit and a parrot on the shoulder. If you are a pirate fan it surely delivers but it could and should do better.
This sale offers a good balance of champion roles and prices. Nautilus appears as a very interesting option due to his high IP price and the eventual sale of AstroNautilus; though that may take a while. The other skins aren’t bad and will probably be on sale but not very soon as they were discounted around the middle of last year.
Swain is an offer that comes late to the party and without the best clothes. That is, Tyrant Swain was already put on sale recently and Bilgewater Swain isn’t that great of an argument. Still, Northern Front Swain may go on sale, as it’s been almost a year, and his IP price is high enough; depends on your farming.
Finally, Corki offers an interesting option due to the release of Dragonwing Corki. However, as Lunar skins aren’t legacy they will be discounted sooner or later. Moreover, Corki’s IP price isn’t really high and aside from Urfrider Corki, recently on sale, there isn’t much that makes the purchase attractive.
