Introduction: Beyond the Surface
In magma the rock was forged and became a part them. For one, stone ran through her veins: she became a force of nature. For another, molten rock became his fuel and powered a rage that could not be snuffed out. To anyone they would’ve seemed a threat but looks can be deceiving. It wasn’t them who were conjuring a titan able to destroy the world. They were simply sleeping and growing in power near the core of the planet. The Sorcerer Prince, deluded by his visions, had a cataclysm in sight.
The Titan smashed with his weapon on the earth and the shockwave brought down anything on the surface. Everything collapsed under the uncontainable power. The vibrations reached deep into the earth and awakened them. They made their way up, half asleep, and looked up towards the colossal being before them. For all their power they were mere ants in comparison. The Titan didn’t even notice them and continued its rampage under the maddening watch of the Sorcerer Prince.
Perhaps it was that twisted influence that disturbed the Titan beyond normal. Perhaps it was a being beyond corruption and only able to carry its one task. Whatever the reason the Titan lifted his weapon again, ready to smash, crack and push through to the core of the Earth until the whole planet was broken. The weapon got sliced and scorched in its way down by a swirl of flames. The Titan was held by crimson rock, covered and ultimately crushed under its weight. The earth was no passive witness.
Nobody saw or understood what had happened except for the Sorcerer Prince. That’s when he understood that even Earth procures its defenders and that he needed to plot further to make his mad dreams come true. He was already plotting as he looked down on the earth welcoming its warriors back to her nurturing embrace. Without word, a war had been declared. If there was no power on this Earth that the Sorcerer Prince could use then he would reach beyond. He would travel to those lands of madness where sanity isn’t allowed and only horror comes out. He would bring the end at any cost.
