Introduction: On the Run
The Commando approaches carefully. His sunglasses glint in the night reinforcing his inhuman confidence. The sound can be heard approaching: it’s the machine. The ground is littered with sparks from the increasing speed but that is to end. The Commando sends a blast towards the machine and it stops in a new formation, ready for defence. A gust propels the Commando forward but the machine proves difficult to capture. With a distraction it evades the Commando and propels itself away. The Prince won’t be happy with this; in fact, he’ll be burning in fury.
The machine keeps going forward, fast, leaving the scenery behind as a blur. A hail of arrows stops it again and another arrow, keenly aimed, lodges itself on its faceplate. It dissolves in thin air but leaves a clear mark. With a few calculations the sniper is easily located and subsequent arrows can be predicted with accuracy. Circular saws emerge from the ground and shred the trees to pieces. The swift sniper escapes from branch to branch but the machine will carelessly bring the whole forest down if necessary. He needs to escape for a moment but the imminent danger prevents it.
Out of the blue, the Commando appears and gathers the machine’s full attention. The Sniper focuses and lets the whole of his power in one beam of light. Shackled, both warriors concentrate their attacks on the machine until they subdue it completely. They finally capture it and, with some difficulty, turn it off. Next time the Prince wants to make them take care of his malfunctioning toys he better be ready to give a hand himself.
