Overview
A bloody knight, an Arctic operative and a ghastly pirate appear in this week’s sale. It all looks rather gloomy for the most part so let’s grab a torch and see.

Conclusion:
As an armoured centaur Blood Knigth Hecarim isn’t able to leave his supernatural essence behind so as to better realize the concept. The result is still a ghost knight but with a different style. This makes it an acceptable skin for the Shadow of War but there’s better.
The snow commando concept behind Arctic Ops Varus is attractive but the execution falters before reaching greatness. The additions are all nice but none explain the high price: it would be just fine at 975 RP. All in all, if you like the skin the sale is the best time to get it; even if a bit expensive.
Simple but attractive, Spooky Gangplank is a re-texture with an interesting glow effect that sets it apart from the rest. So, the pirate becomes a ghost but the core remains. Considering the low price, appealing concept and effective execution this is a skin that fans of Gangplank will certainly enjoy.

Conclusion:
Uncontainable power has many uses and saving IP certainly is one of those; though Syndra knows that it comes at a price. Following the Sun, Leona would also lend a hand even if the amount of IP is lower. Finally, most will find that Anivia’s IP price is rather reasonable so there’s isn’t that much need to spend RP.
While it was a few months since Syndra came around as a Justicar and put everything in order we still await her return. That’s because her Atlantean trips are expected to come at any time; or so we hope.
Last year was a busy one for Leona. In December she never yielded as a Defender, in November she arrived in battle as a Valkyrie, in October she took some time off in a Pool Party but in September she supported the iconic Iron Solari. With all that work behind her it may take a while for her to reappear; she deserves a rest.
The Bird of Prey flew low above sales in November and we could notice it heralded the return of none other than Anivia. Even if in August a Hextech replica was presented there’s nothing like the original. With that in mind, we hope to see her wearing her Noxus Hunter armour soon as she hasn’t since September 2013.
