Overview
The sale this week is a bit of a disappointment as there are better skins available for these champions. Still, there are some things to like so, let’s give them a quick look.

Conclusion:
Charred Maokai is a plain skin, especially considering its price. The skin doesn’t stand apart from the classic appearance as it mostly relies on textures. The saplings, just like Maokai, get a new paint job but that’s mostly it. Unless you are a dedicated fan of the Twisted Treant this skin might let down.
Mad Scientist Ziggs provides a sensible theme that is implemented with a bit of exaggeration. The uniform is reasonable and the new particles and sounds for his abilities are a nice touch. Regardless, the goggles and helmet could be a little too much: they are understandably weird but not particularly appealing. Fans of Ziggs will find it an interesting addition, nonetheless.
Nightblade Irelia is a modest skin but at a suitable price. The skin takes her quite close to a kunoichi; which seems rather fitting. The dark suit isn’t revolutionary but it’s detailed and makes Irelia look good. For this price, the skin is appealing enough to warrant being taken into consideration for fans of the Will of the Blades.

Conclusion:
Science has come a long way and that includes automating the process of farming, even IP. So, embrace change and join the glorious revolution: Viktor is your machine-man. A legion of undead can also help so don’t forget that Yorick is around too. Speaking of which, a lich like Karthus can also help but his musical tendencies won’t be as useful to avoid farming.
On to skins, Creator Viktor is still a long way away from a sale. His Full Machine model will also have to wait as evidenced by last November’s sale. Not even a mere Prototype seems to come cheaply nowadays as October marked its last sale. All in all, Viktor fans will have to be patient to upgrade.
Now, if we are in need of funerary services for our enemies then an experienced Undertaker is essential. Sadly, his services won’t come with a discount since there were cheaper last October. The previous August concert of Pentakill also means that his strident tunes won’t be back on sale for a while.
Fortunately, Karthus has some good news: his last skin on sale was Grim Reaper on September. His Statue of self was discounted on July and his rocker Pentakill persona on May. Some time will still be necessary before some these skins are discounted but things are shaping up.
