Conclusion:
For this weekend sale, the asylum lets loose its prime lunatic, a fox-lady gets a nice fur suit and an adept wizard gets some new tattoos. Let’s see what’s on offer.
Asylum Shaco evolves his madman persona to its natural destination: getting a straitjacket and being rather happy about it. While the look is certainly stylized to incorporate the jester angle the result is quite appealing. Fans of Shaco will find a lot to like until he gets locked again.
An elegant fox-lady like Ahri certainly benefits from fine clothing. Therefore, the dark fur suit and tiara that Midnight provides suit her very well. The concept may be nothing innovative but Ahri surely looks attractive without revealing much skin. Overall, it’s a very nice option for fans of elegantly dressed fox-ladies.
This skin sales ends with Tribal Ryze, a mundane version of the Rogue Mage that makes his skin chalk white and adds a bunch of dark, lightning-shaped tattoos. The look is distinct, due to the bright colour, but uninspired nonetheless. As an alternative to his classic look it might suffice but there are better options.

Conclusion:
To avoid farming IP, this weekend you can choose to go strand by silken strand guided by the Spider Queen. Elise is the best option to complete a champion roster but there’s really no other reason. That’s because Death Blossom Elise was recently on sale and if you have you eyes on Victorious Elise, as long as you qualify for the skin, chances are you’ll also get the champion.
Swain can be a good choice if you don’t habitually accumulate much IP. Unfortunately, skins won’t help with the decision: all of his skins were discounted around the first quarter of the year. Thus, unless you specifically need a ravenous flock, Swain will have to wait.
Finally, Katarina is a lady that manages to look good while stabbing people to death; yet that doesn’t make her a particularly good purchase. Her IP price is reasonable enough and all of her skins have been on sale already on 2013. If you want to play it safe for the Snowdown arrival of Slay Belle Katarina she could be worth a purchase. Regardless, there’s ample time to accrue enough IP anyway.
