Introduction: Share of Corruption
The corruption spreads but not how you would expect it. Let me explain, you see the crystal growing on my body? You’d think that as it spreads over my body I would be further affected. Predictable fool, I shot your access as easily as I can shoot your ideas down. You have no clue as to what this is but you will understand, now that we are here alone. Too many people around that pool of yours so better here. It’s a pity we won’t be joining them, I would’ve liked to partake on the fun, but well: you should’ve thought before taking part in this.
Where were we? Yes, the corruption. It doesn’t spread, it replaces. Hear? That’s an arm made of crystal. Not any crystal of course. It’s one quite indestructible yet it constantly grows and the only way of keeping it in check is to cut it against itself. It’s a rather annoying thing but one can grow a habit out of it. It also helps to use the excess as arrows for this maligned bow of mine. To think it was a good but otherwise common bow. Now it could cut both your arms with one single arrow. I think it enjoys doing things like that.
The corruption, let’s get back on track. Instead of reaching around for a wider area to cover it goes deep and consumes. You can feel it eating your flesh and transforming, leaving behind the crystal. It can be so solid and yet flexible where it needs to. The articulations work without issue, you know? Am I boring you, big smile? Not so smiley now? Don’t worry, they’ll find you smiling. The thing is you helped made this madness popular. Your celebrity status, or whatever is called, made sure that this reached into me and many others. Now you will join in the fun. Not the one you had planned but, well, life’s full of surprises, right?
