Introduction:
This is a special early sale for being the first offering a legendary skin. While Dragon Trainer Tristana will, assumedly, never be discounted again the difference is only 470 RP which is something but not that much; roughly 26% off. If you like the skin now may be the best time to get it but if you aren’t able then it’s not really a tragedy.
For those charmed by the appealing bond between Tristana and Riggle be aware that it’s mostly centred in animations when out of action: emotes and recall mainly. When in combat Dragon Trainer Tristana feels quite similar to Classic despite the cartoon angle and stylised flames. If in doubt, check the review.
As for the rest of the skins, there’s little reason to worry as they will eventually reach a regular sale with a much more appreciated 50% discount. If there’s anything that you just can’t wait anymore to get then the sale may suffice. Regardless, patience and moderation is advised as expenses accumulate quite fast.
