Conclusion:
The idea behind Runeguard Volibear isn’t really original but the implementation makes the most of it. It supplements the nice looks with fine visual additions like new particles and animations. The result manages to be more than the sum of its parts and so it’s an interesting choice for fans of the Thunder’s Roar.
Heavy metal: the kind of weapon and music that many prefer. Pentakill Mordekaiser tries to reinvent the Master of Metal as a guitar player and it accomplishes the aspect if nothing else. It’s a skin that reaches its objective but without any additional effort. The result is acceptable for the price but just that.
As a tribute to her original appearance with pink hair and green clothing Mercenary Katarina is simple and straightforward. With just a few re-coloured textures the new aspect is conveyed and it’s nothing to write home about. Ultimately, except for the nostalgic value it’s a skin with little to offer.

Conclusion:
If you need to escape from the IP farm then a master of the shadows like Zed can give you the discreet exit you need. Another option is to level the whole area with pure arcane might like Xerath can do; not very subtle but also works. The remaining option is to let Pantheon open a path through it all with the protection of his shield; but that might not be the best option.
In terms of outfits, Zed had his Shockblade gear at a discount last October. This means that there won’t be much to worry about. Between the relaxed tempo of the sales and the brief wardrobe Zed will be retired from sales for some time.
As a being of energy Xerath prefers to transform himself. Scorched Earth offered cheap flames on December, Runeborn was the option on November and the Battlecast line on October. In theory, they could be back soon but the current state of sales means that a long wait is more probable.
Lastly, Pantheon’s incursion as a Dragonslayer is too new yet to visit a sale. In addition to this, both Perseus and Glaive Warrior were discounted on February and January, respectively. If we move to last year we find Ruthless on November, Full Metal on July and Myrmidon on May. Therefore, patience is the only remaining option.

Mercenary kat has pink hair?
At least that was the original look and intention of the skin according to a red post somewhere in the forums; if we recall correctly.
