Conclusion:
This weekend sale has a clear draconic feel that leaves behind anything related to Harrowing; despite the fact that we, technically, are in the middle of it. Regardless, the offers aren’t bad so let’s give them a closer look.
Speaking of traditions, a dragon hunter is a classic concept that Dragonslayer Vayne applies to the Night Hunter. The result has a distinct personality and clear identity. However, the aspect leans more towards form rather than function. In the end, it’s a good looking skin with an appealing style but isn’t without issues.
A hunter without a target has little purpose for existing but Ironscale Shyvana is ready to be a hard catch. Although not without style compromises the skin offers rather sensible protection and an attractive, predatory true form. On the whole, it’s a skin with a good compromise between looks and practicality plus a lot of appeal.
The last skin offers something radically different. The appearance of a geisha is incorporated into Sakura Karma but the result seems actually closer to a cosplay that a faithful representation. In general, it works but fidelity isn’t its forte. All in all, it’s an interesting option for Karma’s fans but there’s better for her.

Conclusion:
The weekend sale proposes Darius and Skarner as the best options to complete a champion roster while avoiding quite some IP farming. For those that gather huge amounts of IP Skarner might be easier to reach yet both have a high price. Conversely, Gangplank is better unlocked without any RP as his reasonable IP price shouldn’t take too long to reach.
As far as looks are concerned, Woad King Darius will take a good while to go on sale. Besides, his others skins were already discounted on 2013. The same can be said about Skarner as both of his skins were on sale; one not too long ago. Gangplank has also had most of his skins on sale; except for Spooky, which would’ve been a great fit for Harrowing.
