It looks like Snowdown Showdown 2011’s last day wasn’t the only inaccuracy on the part of Riot recently. Yesterday, Lunar Revel skins were added as part of a new holiday on Valoran and to celebrate the Chinese New Year. The skins were announced on their own page, just like Harrowing and Snowdown skins are.
We would like to start reviewing skins so as to better guide players in their purchases. However, the reviews have to be useful and for that your opinion is of the utmost importance. Reviewing skins is quite different to reviewing a game because there are less objective factors: the same skin can be great for a person and horrible for another.
Therefore, this article will present a draft for a skin review. We would greatly appreciate if you comment with your thoughts about the proposal and what you’d like to add or remove to make it more useful. First of all, let’s take a look at the general structure of a skin review.

This article will bring to a close, at least for now, our series on effective health (EH). In this article you’ll find a summary of the findings from our three previous analyses on effective health. Moreover, we included four sortable tables with the effective health and cost per unit of EH for five of Leona’s levels: 1, 6, 11, 16 and 18. They roughly correspond to the early, mid and late game which are the most distinguished phases in the game.
Levels 6, 11 and 16 were chosen because at those levels a new skill point can be placed on Leona’s ultimate, Solar Flare. Those levels are well spread and provide a good place to evaluate the benefits that an item provides at different important stages of a match.

The first video tutorial we featured covered Annie and was made by exploreforce. To start 2012 we return with another video guide by exploreforce, this time on Poppy. This tutorial is quite complete and covers Poppy’s performance through the phases of a match plus two possible builds.
The tutorial starts with a rundown of her abilities; then expands into recommended runes, masteries and items for building AD or AP Poppy. Finally it covers her early, mid and late game as well as some tips to get the most from the Iron Ambassador.
