The strings sounded softly and the harmony was enchanting. If there was any proof that music calmed beasts then this surely was a good example. The creature was monumental, so much so that the huntress could climb atop it as if it were a mountain. She didn’t need to, the colossus followed docilely the magic of the strings and the huntress merely trotted by its side.
“We should hunt like this more often.” quipped the huntress. The musician said nothing but smiled, she liked the idea of helping a town in need. Colossi were big trouble as they seldom paid attention to human populace. They couldn’t really be blamed as humans seldom paid attention to ants but humans were much more resentful than any insect could ever be. It wouldn’t be today, though.
