Introduction: Concert on Time
“Tickets, please.” It always starts the same way but when a concert has Pentakill involved disaster isn’t far behind. In spite of all of efforts to prevent any cataclysm once the band got rolling the land cracked and swallowed the whole city. The minutemen were ready to help in an instant but there’s little that can be done when the Earth itself opens its maw. Someone had to do something and so, a mystic from the desert was called to aid.
There’re many tales about what this strange man does in the desert. He spends long seasons among ruins but he always returns as if he’s just been gone. The man listens and sees to what happened and puts his sand clock to work. Before his eyes, the city returns to its place and the concert starts anew. He intervenes, the whole stadium is locked in time and the city forces, with the aid of the minutemen, move the stage far out into the plains. When the concert resumes, the fans are puzzled but it’s only Pentakill who disappear into the Earth. Who knows what adventures await them there?
