Conclusion:
This sale has two very nice skins and an utter letdown. Reverse Annie and Sultan Tryndamere are the highlights of the sale due to their nice concepts and effective executions. Unfortunately, Black Belt Udyr barely offers anything so it doesn’t strike as a worthwhile skin. Let’s give them a closer look.
Reverse Annie offers a fantastic concept that not only suits her but also matches her personality. The execution stops at model changes but the result is definitely good. Annie’s fans will find in Reverse Annie a very appealing concept. So, if you’d like a playful and cute skin for the Dark Child you’ll hardly go wrong with Reverse Annie.
The requisite dose of royalty is provided by Sultan Tryndamere and his distinctive moustache. Besides a new model there aren’t that many changes though they are well placed. The new particles for Spinning Slash look good and the new animations reinforce Tryndamere’s game-play. All in all, it may not be a spectacular skin but it’s finely done.
The last skin is Black Belt Udyr, essentially a re-colour that doesn’t stray far from his classic style. The skin is surely cheap but the changes are particularly minimal to the point that they may not even justify its price. Overall, it’s a skin better skipped in favour of other better options that Udyr has.

Conclusion:
To save on IP farming, this week the choice is to maul all opposition and roar with the strength of lightning. Volibear is the choice and he also comes with some good looks. Sadly, Runeguard Volibear will take a while to go on sale as it’s been released rather recently. Besides, both Northern Storm and Thunder Lord Volibear were already discounted this year so skins aren’t really an argument to purchase him; unless you want to be safe for Runeguard.
Riven is an option to avoid farming if you don’t habitually accumulate much IP. In terms of skins, Battle Bunny and Crimson Elite were on sale this year but Redeemed wasn’t. Thus, if you want redemption for the Exile you could play it safe by getting her now. Still, there could be enough time to gather enough IP by the time she goes on sale so consider that angle.
Finally, Kassadin’s IP price is low enough that it wouldn’t be that much trouble to unlock him without relying on RP. That’s better saved for his skins and he has some nice options. Additionally, as Deep One, Pre-Void and Harbinger Kassadin were on sale this year there’s no rush to unlock him.
